WATERS is a photographic Scripture artwork from The Editorial Collection. Seen from above, a stone pool edge runs diagonally across dark water, with ISAIAH set into the stone and the verse written into the water itself, as if it rests on the surface.

The image holds the moment right at the edge, just before you step in. Isaiah 43:2 speaks into exactly that place: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. It is a verse for the seasons you cannot walk around, and for the One who goes through them with you.

Warm stone and dark water give WATERS a strong, calm presence on the wall. It sits naturally beside wood, linen, plaster and concrete, and works just as well in a light room as in a dark one. The verse is set in the King James Version.
