Frequently Asked Questions

All of our prints are unframed fine art prints, produced using carefully selected premium papers. Most of our collections are giclée printed with water-based pigment inks on either 200gsm museum-quality matte paper or 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching, a softly textured archival paper trusted by galleries and fine art studios. The Still Word Collection is printed on 250gsm museum archival matte paper using high-resolution digital printing, chosen for its smooth surface and crisp detail. Every print is designed to offer lasting quality and a timeless, gallery-worthy presentation.

Giclée is a fine art printing method that uses high-resolution inkjet technology and pigment-based inks to produce museum-quality prints. Known for its exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity, giclée printing is the standard used by galleries and professional artists.

At Olives & Grace, we use giclée printing on our Classic and Signature editions to ensure rich depth, soft gradients, and lasting quality. With proper care, giclée prints can last over 100 years without fading.

Hahnemühle is one of the world’s oldest and most respected paper mills, founded in Germany in 1584. Renowned for its craftsmanship and commitment to quality, Hahnemühle produces archival-grade papers used by museums, galleries, and fine art printers across the globe.

Our Signature Edition prints are produced on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, a softly textured 310gsm paper chosen for its depth, durability, and timeless presentation. It’s trusted by artists and collectors for its ability to hold rich pigment and preserve fine details for generations.

To ensure your print lasts for years to come, we recommend framing it as soon as possible. Use acid-free materials and, if preferred, UV-protective glass or acrylic to shield the artwork from sunlight and moisture.

Keep your print away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures. With proper care, our giclée and archival prints can remain beautifully preserved for over 100 years.
