Find the right scale.

The right scale can transform the way artwork feels in a room. Use these guidelines as a starting point when choosing a size for your space.

SMALLER WALLS

20 × 28" works well on smaller walls, above a side table or console, and in more intimate spaces.

MEDIUM SPACES

28 × 40" offers more presence while still feeling balanced in bedrooms, dining areas and above smaller furniture.

STATEMENT WALLS

35 × 51" and 43 × 58" are suited to larger walls and spaces where you want the artwork to become a focal point.

A SIMPLE RULE

When placing artwork above furniture, aim for approximately two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of the furniture below it.

Art is often chosen too small for the space around it. When deciding between two sizes, the larger piece will often create a more intentional sense of scale.

We recommend measuring both your wall and furniture before choosing your artwork.
