July 2025 – Jeremiah 17:7-8

This month, we reflect on a verse that speaks of rootedness and quiet strength:

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”
- Jeremiah 17:7-8

These verses paint the picture of a life deeply rooted in God, not immune to hard seasons, but sustained through them. It reminds us that trust isn’t a feeling, it’s a posture. When we choose to anchor ourselves in Him, we don’t dry out in the heat. We stay steady. Fruitful. Alive.
